En vedette
"Soft V" Neck Profile
Le profil de manche "Soft V" (la forme du manche en coupe transversale) sur la guitare Eric Clapton Stratocaster offre un très grand confort de jeu. Il est obtenu en "adoucissant" la partie la plus accentuée d'un profil en "V" de style années 1950 et ainsi obtenir une forme plus arrondie. Il est idéal pour les guitaristes qui ont de grandes mains et dont le pouce passe par-dessus le bord de la touche.
TBX Tone Control
Le premier potentiomètre de tonalité pilote le circuit TBX (Treble Bass Expander) de la guitare. Le potentiomètre présente une détente centrale (5), il fonctionne comme un contrôle de tonalité normal à partir de 0 et jusqu'à la détente. En tournant le potentiomètre dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre à partir de la détente, le système ajoute de la présence et de la brillance ; en le tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre à partir de cette détente, il atténue les hautes fréquences.
Active Mid Boost
Le second potentiomètre de contrôle de la tonalité fonctionne également comme un boost des médiums actif. En le tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre, les fréquences médiums et basses sont boostées tout en réduisant les hautes fréquences.
Blocked Tremolo
La guitare Eric Clapton Stratocaster présente un bloc de bois installé entre le bloc de vibrato et la paroi de la cavité de celui-ci afin d'assurer sa stabilité. Cet élément, demandé par le guitariste lui-même, peut être retiré facilement.
Urethane Finish
Les finitions uréthane sur les corps de ces guitares sont particulièrement résistantes ; elles donneront beaucoup d'éclat, de brillance et de clarté aux couleurs et ce pendant très longtemps.
9.5" Fingerboard Radius
La radius est un élément important qui décrit la courbure sur toute la largeur de la touche. Cet instrument présente un radius de touche de 9.5” (241 mm) légèrement plus plat qu'un radius de style vintage, mais son arrondi est suffisant pour assurer le confort, des sensations de jeu naturelles, et faciliter la réalisation de bends.
